# Platform Visibility

> Choose which features are visible to your users — hide channels and add-ons they cannot use, or show an upgrade prompt instead.

## What is this?

The **Platform Visibility** tab controls which features your users can see in the sidebar, on channels, and in plans and pricing. You can hide a feature entirely or show it with an upgrade prompt so users know it exists but needs a higher plan.

Features that require a license or add-on you do not have are locked and cannot be set to Visible — they show a "Not included in your license or add-on" badge.

## What can I do here?

For each feature, choose one of two states:

| State | What the user sees |
| - | - |
| **Visible** | The feature appears normally in the sidebar and throughout the platform |
| **Show upgrade** | The feature appears but is locked with an upgrade prompt |

Features are grouped into two categories:

* **Channels** — WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram, Telegram, TikTok, Web Chat, Events, Google
* **Add-ons** — AI Assist, MCP, and other purchasable add-ons

## How to use it

1. Go to **Platform Settings → Platform Visibility**.
2. For each feature, toggle between **Visible** and **Show upgrade** using the controls.
3. Changes save automatically.

  Hiding a feature removes it from the sidebar, channels list, and pricing pages. Users with an active subscription to a hidden feature can still use it — they just will not see it in navigation.

## Troubleshooting / Technical Notes

* **A feature is locked and cannot be changed.** The feature is not included in your current license or add-on. To unlock it, purchase the relevant add-on or upgrade your plan.
* **The AI Assist or MCP tab shows a lock icon in Platform Settings.** These features are gated — they need the add-on on your installation and platform. The lock icon on the tab is separate from the visibility setting here.
