# Self-Hosted

> Run the platform on your own infrastructure — and, with the White-Label add-on, create and sell white-label platforms of your own.

## What is this?

**Self-Hosted** means you run the platform on your own infrastructure and sell it under your own brand. We keep the software up to date — new features, improvements, and bug fixes — so you don't have to build or maintain the core platform yourself. You focus on selling and growing your business.

In the app, this area is called **Instance**. It's under **Platform → Instance**, and it's only visible to platform owners on a self-managed license.

  Self-Hosted comes in two levels. **Self-Hosted** lets you sell the platform to your own users. Adding the **White-Label add-on** lets you also create, brand, and sell white-label platforms to your own customers.

## Two ways to run Self-Hosted

## What is the White-Label add-on?

**What if your white-label platform could sell white-label?** With Self-Hosted and the White-Label add-on, you don't just get a platform for your own business — you get the ability to create, brand, and sell multiple white-label platforms to your own customers.

With the add-on, you can:

* **Provision white-label platforms** for your customers, each with its own domain — see [Whitelabel Users](/self-host/whitelabel-users)
* **Set your own prices** for setup plans, credit packs, wallet recharges, add-ons, and commission — see [Whitelabel Plans](/self-host/whitelabel-plans)
* **Offer branded mobile apps** — Android and iOS builds for your white-label customers — see [Whitelabel App Generation](/self-host/whitelabel-app-generation)
* **Track every payment** they make — see [Whitelabel Transactions](/self-host/whitelabel-transactions)

## How to use it

1. **Confirm your license.** Open [Licence](/self-host/whitelabel-setup/licence-status) to see what your instance is licensed for. It tells you whether the White-Label add-on and other features are active.
2. **Set up your infrastructure.** Work through [Whitelabel Setup](/self-host/whitelabel-setup/overview) — domains, background jobs, and fallback services.
3. **Sell to your own users.** Configure plans, your [payment gateway](/platform/gateway), and [Platform Settings](/platform/platform-settings), then onboard users as described in [Platform](/platform/platform).
4. **With the White-Label add-on, sell to your customers.** Define prices in [Whitelabel Plans](/self-host/whitelabel-plans), then create platforms in [Whitelabel Users](/self-host/whitelabel-users) and follow their payments in [Whitelabel Transactions](/self-host/whitelabel-transactions).
5. **Keep an eye on health.** Check [Stats](/self-host/whitelabel-setup/stats) and [Instance Performance](/self-host/instance-performance) regularly.

## Troubleshooting / Technical Notes

* **The Instance menu isn't visible.** It's only shown to platform owners on a self-managed license, with the `instance:view` permission.
* **A page is missing from the Instance menu.** Each add-on page only appears when its license feature is active. Whitelabel Users, Plans, App Generation, and Transactions (and the Railway for SaaS tab) need the **White-Label add-on**, WhatsApp Credit Line Pricing needs **Credit Line**, and Instance Roadmap needs **Roadmap**. Check [Licence](/self-host/whitelabel-setup/licence-status) and contact support to add one.
* **The Railway for SaaS tab is missing.** It's part of the White-Label add-on. Use [Cloudflare for SaaS](/self-host/whitelabel-setup/cloudflare-saas) instead.
