Facebook Interaction is where you configure how your connected Facebook Page’s Messenger experience behaves — the persistent menu, the Get Started welcome screen, Messenger slash commands, and importing existing conversations into the platform.
Choose a Type — Postback or Web URL — enter a Title, and for Web URL, enter a URL.
Click Save. The menu updates on your connected Facebook Page; existing open chats need a refresh to see the update.
Use the pencil icon to edit an item, or the trash icon to remove it.
Click the Get Started Payload row.
Enter a Postback Payload and click Save to enable it, or click Disable to turn off the Get Started button.
Open the Commands tab.
Click Add Command, then enter a Command Name (1–32 characters) and Description (1–64 characters). You can add up to 100 commands.
Click Save. Use the pencil and trash icons on a row to edit or remove a command.
Open the Conversation Sync tab.
Click Queue Sync to import conversations, continuing from where the last sync left off.
Click Reset & Sync to start over from scratch — use this if a previous sync failed with permission or thread errors, or after reconnecting the Page.
Click Refresh to check the latest status and stats.
Editing and deleting on this page require the facebook:edit and facebook:delete permissions respectively; without them, the corresponding controls are disabled. Without any Facebook permission, or without a connected Page, the page shows an access-denied or setup-required message instead.
