What is this?

Connected Users is a live, auto-refreshing view of everyone currently signed in and active on the platform — who’s online, what role they have, and what page they’re on right now. It’s built for support and admin monitoring, not day-to-day account management. Full Connected Users page

What can I do here?

  • See summary tiles: Online Now, Avg Session, Admin Count, Team Members
  • Search the online-user list (matches name, email, IP address, current page, or role)
  • Filter by role using the role dropdown (All Roles, Owner, Superadmin, Admin, Agent)
  • Turn Auto-refresh on or off (refreshes every 5 seconds while on)
  • Click Refresh to update the list on demand
  • From a row’s actions menu: View User (opens that user’s Platform Users detail page), Copy User ID, and Copy IP Address (only shown when an IP address is available)

How to use it

  1. Open Platform > Connected Users. The page loads the currently active session list and the summary tiles.

  1. To narrow the table, type a name, email, IP address, page path, or role into the search box, and/or pick a role from the role filter.

  3. Read each row: User (name/email and internal user ID), Status (Online), Role, IP Address, Current Page (the route the user is currently on, or “Not active” if unavailable), and Active Hrs (hours since the session connected).

Troubleshooting / Technical Notes

  • The page says you don’t have permission. Connected Users requires the platform:view permission. Use Go to Dashboard, and ask an administrator to grant it.
  • A user you know is signed in doesn’t appear. This page lists only currently active sessions, and every row shown is “Online” — there’s no offline or history view. If someone isn’t listed, their session isn’t active right now. Sessions drop off the list after a period of inactivity.
  • The copy buttons don’t work. You’ll see an error message when your browser blocks clipboard access, for example on a non-HTTPS page or when permission was denied. Allow clipboard access and try again.
  • The list looks frozen. Check that Auto-refresh is on. When it’s off, the table only updates when you click Refresh.
  • There’s no block, delete, or edit control here. This is by design — use Platform Users for account changes.
