What is this?

The Email Settings tab configures how your platform sends outgoing email. It uses modern email APIs rather than SMTP, which gives better delivery, tracking, and reliability. You pick a provider, add its API key, and define the sender identity used across the platform. Full Email Settings page
SMTP is not supported. Only API-based email providers can be configured.

What can I do here?

  • Choose an email provider: SendGrid, Mailgun, Brevo (Sendinblue), Postmark, AWS SES, or Zepto
  • Enter the provider’s API Key
  • Set the sender From Name and From Email
  • Set a Logo URL used in email content
  • Review the current provider configuration and click Refresh to reload it

How to use it

  1. Go to Platform Settings → Email Settings and click Edit Settings.
  2. Choose your Provider.
  3. Paste the API Key from your provider’s dashboard.
  4. Enter the From Name and From Email. The From Email should be an address or domain you have verified with your provider.
  5. Optionally add a Logo URL.
  6. Click Save.

What emails use this configuration

Every system-generated email is sent through the provider you configure here, including:
  • registration and OTP verification emails
  • subscription confirmation, expiry, and reminder emails
  • transaction-related emails
  • system notifications and alerts
You can preview these on the Email Templates tab.

Troubleshooting / Technical Notes

  • Users don’t receive OTP or registration emails. If email settings aren’t configured, OTP, subscription, and transaction emails all fail and users may be unable to finish signing up. Configure a provider first.
  • Emails are rejected by the provider. Check with your provider that the From Email is a verified sender for your account.
  • I only have SMTP credentials. Use an API provider from the list above — SMTP can’t be used here.
