What is this?
The General Setting tab defines the core identity of your platform — its name, tagline, logos, region, support contact details, and a few global behaviours. It is the foundation of your white-label configuration, and the values you set here appear across the whole application.
What can I do here?
- Set the Application Title and Tagline
- Upload the Logo, a secondary Logo 2, and a Favicon
- Choose your Country and review the platform Currency
- Add company details: Description, Company Name, Company Website, Support Email, Support Phone, and Address
- Connect analytics with a Google Analytics Measurement ID and a Microsoft Clarity Project ID
- Set the Widget Site ID and Widget Server URL for embedded chat widgets
- Set the Documentation base URL and choose whether to Show documentation link
- Turn the Landing Page Active option on or off
- Preview your brand in the Brand Preview card and click Refresh to reload the saved settings
How to use it
Update your branding
- Go to Platform Settings → General Setting and click Edit Settings.
- Enter the Application Title (required, under 50 characters) and an optional Tagline.
-
Upload your Logo, Logo 2, and Favicon. Logos accept JPEG or PNG and the favicon accepts PNG or ICO, up to 5 MB each.

- Click Save. The Brand Preview shows how the logos will appear in the app.
Set platform and contact details
- In the edit dialog, choose your Country.
-
Fill in the company and support details — for example Support Email, Support Phone, and Address.

Currency is read-only here. It is inherited from the platform setup.
Connect analytics and widgets
Under Integration Settings, add your Google Analytics Measurement ID (it starts withG-) and your Microsoft Clarity Project ID. If you embed your chat widget on external sites, enter the Widget Site ID and Widget Server URL (the base URL where widget.js is served).

Point the platform at its documentation
Under Documentation base URL, enter the address of your documentation site (for examplehttps://docs.example.com). It does two things:
- “View docs” links — when Show documentation link is on, a View docs link under each page title opens the matching page on that site. Turn the switch off to hide the links.
- The AI Assistant and MCP — their documentation tools (
search_docsandread_doc) read this site’sllms.txtpage index to answer how-to questions. See Product docs tools.
Control the landing page
Turn Landing Page Active on if your platform is hosted on a main domain and you want a public landing page. Turn it off if the platform runs on a subdomain or is used internally.Troubleshooting / Technical Notes
- The assistant answers from the wrong documentation, or can’t find a guide. Check Documentation base URL points at your own docs site, and that the site is published and reachable. The assistant keeps its page index for about an hour, so a fix or new page can take a while to appear.
- I don’t see “View docs” links. Turn Show documentation link on.
- “Application title is required” or “Title should be less than 50 characters.” Shorten or fill in the title.
- “File too large.” Logos and favicons must be 5 MB or smaller.
- Currency can’t be changed. It is set during platform setup and is read-only here.
- The landing page is missing. Check that Landing Page Active is on and that your domain is correctly set up.
